Not Ordinary

My brother and soon to be sister in law are in town visiting this week. Hubby and I are taking them to some quintessential Texas places. We hit Billy Bob's Texas which proclaims to be the 'World's Largest Honky Tonk' and spent an afternoon at the Winstar - the 'World's Largest Casino' but it happens to be in Oklahoma.

This is me, dancing to the music as the seat was vibrating. I am very easily amused.

I'd say it was a huge Texas fail, but I won $115 on one round of Free Spins on Cirque du Soleil's Kooza game.

This is me dancing -->

to the music the game was playing during my epic wins.

We also won enough to pay for dinner the next night on The Big Bang Theory slot machine. So OK FTW!

But so far, this magnet has been one of my more favorite things we've seen. I feel like it encompasses what I strive to be.

And that was never more clear than when we went to buy cowboy (and girl boots). Hubby bought some gorgeous black ostrich boots, SIL got some great brown ones. I wanted the purple lizard boots.

Purple. Lizard. Boots.

Unfortunately for the world they didn't have my size, or else there would be many many photos of me in them today. And many days after that.

**** Because I know my husband will tell everyone that I already have purple boots : I do own a pair of purple slouchy boots AND a pair of purple patent leather booties with a silver stiletto heel. But NOT purple lizard cowboy boots. I also own neon pink flats, neon orange sandals, gold (fake) Sperrys, and have owned tennis shoes in every color.

And no. I don't have too many shoes.
